Dozens of transporting and gas tanker trucks caught the fire, said Jilani Farhad, spokesman for the provincial governor.
It was a massive fire and was still raging, he added.
According to the spokesman, there was no adequate equipment to extinguish the blaze so authorities have asked the neighboring Iran for help.
The cause of the fire was not clear.
