Explosion Injures 3 in Eastern Afghanistan

A police vehicle belonging to provincial prison hit a roadside bomb in an area near an olive processing factory in the capital of Jalalabad, according to police spokesman Farid Khan.

Three people—all civilians—were injured in the blast which took place Saturday morning at 8:30.

There was no claim of responsibility for the attack.
