COVID-19 in Afghanistan: No Death Registered

The coronavirus total infections hit 55,492 in Afghanistan after it recorded 19 more coronavirus cases over the last 24 hours.

Out of a total 1,489 suspected people contracting the novel coronavirus, 19 people tested positive for the coronavirus pandemic within the past 24 hours, the health ministry’s figures indicated.

The country no COVID-19 patient during the same period.

The new cases of infection were registered in Kabul, Balkh, Takhar, Kunduz, Nimroz, Badakhshan, Logar, Helmand and Faryab provinces.

The total deaths related to the disease has stood at 2,427, according to ministry’s figures.

Also, two patient having been contracted with the COVID-19 disease have recovered over the past 24 hours, bringing the toll of coronavirus recoveries to 48,392.

Worldwide, at least 2,485,205 have died and more than 108 million have been infected since the start of an outbreak that first appeared in Wuhan, China, in early December.
