Monday around 4:20pm, an explosion targeted a civilian car in Nader Pashtun road near Afghan capital Kabul’s second district, according to Ferdaws Faramarz, the provincial police spokesman.
The attack left one killed, said the spokesman.
Investigations into the incident were underway, he added.
It was followed by another explosion which took place near the eighth police district of Kabul city Monday at 6:41pm [Afghanistan time].
The explosion targeted a police vehicle, according to police spokesman, injuring two policemen who were rushed to hospital.
There was no claim of responsibility for the attacks.
Amid wave of targeted assassinations, sticky bomb explosions have also soared in the country already gripped with war and violence.
