According to Ferdaws Faramarz, provincial police spokesman, at least two civilians were wounded in the explosion which took place near the ninth district of the capital, in Macrorayan 4 area.
In another incident, Afghan security forces have foiled an explosion plot near the third district of Kabul city, according to spokesman.
He said that a hand grenade and some explosives were placed at a side of a road in Silo area of Kabul city, but were found and defused by police.
There was no claim of responsibility for the capital bombings, but officials have constantly pointed the blame at Taliban.
