An explosion targeted a car in the second police district of the Afghan capital Kabul Monday around 7:35am, said police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz.
He added two people were injured in the blast.
It was followed by another bomb attack in the fourth district of the city, near Saleem Karwan towers.
The second explosion which took place around 8:30am, left four people killed or wounded, the spokesman said, adding the wounded were taken to hospital.
Police investigations were underway, according to the spokesman.
Other sources have said Mohammad Atif, Chief of Central Executive Council for Jamiat Eslah political party, was also among the dead in the explosion in Saleem Karwan area.
Security officials have not confirmed Atif’s death yet.
There was no claim of responsibility for both attacks.
