The operation was carried out in Dawlat Abad district of the province, leaving another five Taliban militants wounded, Hanif Rezaiee, spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Army Corps said.
Afghan forces have also seized six motorbikes from the militants, he added.
Operations to clear villages from the Taliban insurgents were underway.
The Taliban have not commented into matter yet.
