Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Sunday met with Chairperson of High Council for National Reconciliation Abdullah Abdullah in the Presidential Palace.
National Security Adviser Hamdullah Mohib, First Vice President Amrullah Saleh, Second Vice President Sarwar Danish and Director-General of President’s Administrative Office Fazel Mahmoud Fazly also attended in the meeting.
According to Palace’s statement, latest progresses in peace process and regional issues were the meeting deliberations.
The two sides also expressed concern over a spike in violence in the country and reiterated needs for ceasefire.
