Armed Men Open Fire at ANA Soldiers in Western Afghanistan

Military convoy carrying forces belonging to the Afghan National Army came under armed attack in the ninth district of Herat city, a security source who did not want to be named spoke to TKG.

At least three ANA soldiers were killed and another four wounded in the attack, the source said.

There was no claim of responsibility for the attack.

On late Tuesday too, a bomb explosion targeted a military outpost in Afghanistan’s western province of Herat, leaving six government forces injured.
