Officials in in the Afghan National Army 209th Corps, Shaheen, announced its members were gunned down Tuesday morning in the provincial capital of northern Balkh province.
Armed men on Tuesday morning opened fired at a car carrying members of 209th Shaheen Army Corps in Mazar-i-Sharif city, killing two women, Hanif Rezaiee, spokesman for the military corps spoke to TKG.
He put the toll of wounded people to three people—two other women and the driver.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
