Zia Wadan, Head of Media and Public Relations at National Public Protection Forces (NPPF) and his two colleagues were killed after an IED blast targeted their car Sunday around 8:30am, according to Tariq Arian, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior.
Another one was wounded in the blast, the spokesman added.
The government official pointed the blame at Taliban, saying “utilizing IEDs and bombs are considered war crime.”
The Taliban officials have not yet commented.
