Afghan Ministry of Interior Affairs announced at least three suspects have been arrested in relation to the murder of Yousuf Rasheed, Executive Director of the Free and Fair Election Forum of Afghanistan who was shot and killed near his home on December 23.
Tariq Arian, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, said on Twitter, investigations were underway [to arrest] others involved in the assassination.
Amurllah Saleh, First Vice President, earlier Saturday morning said on social media that three suspects have been identified to be directly involved the murder of Yousuf Rasheed, among whom two were arrested.
His death draw widespread condemnation.
