Car Bomb Attack Foiled in Southern Afghanistan

A vehicle loaded with some 4,000 kilograms of explosives was demolished after Afghan Air Forces targeted the car in Nahr-e Siraj district Tuesday afternoon, a statement by the ministry said.

At least three Taliban militants were also killed in the air strike, according to the statement.

The Taliban officials have not yet commented.
