Farhad Roobin, doctor at Abu Ali Sina regional hospital, committed suicide Tuesday morning after alcohol consumption, said the provincial police spokesman Adel Shah Adel.
One was arrested in relation to the matter, according to the spokesman.
Roobin was in the surgical team at Abu Ali Sina regional hospital and had been living in the ninth district of Mazar-e Sharif, the capital city of Balkh.
