A roadside bomb went off Tuesday morning, around 8:10am [Afghanistan time], in capital’s fifth district, said police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz.

According to the spokesman, no one was hurt in the explosion.

It follows yesterday’s bombing when an explosives-rigged bicycle detonated in Afghan capital’s seventh district, killing at least one civilian and injuring 13 others.

There was no claim of responsibility for these attacks.
