A bicycle loaded with explosives went off Monday evening around 3:45 in Kabul’s seventh district, Guzarhah area, said police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz.
One civilian was killed and another 13 wounded in the blast, according to the spokesman.
Investigations into the matter were underway, he further added.
Sources have said the explosion targeted the bus belonging to the employees of Afghanistan’s National Authority of Statistics and Information.
There was no claim of responsibility for the attack.
