IED explosion targeted a vehicle belonging to Afghan National Army (ANA) in Sabrai district of eastern Khost province Tuesday afternoon, said the provincial police chief Mohammad Dawood Amin.
The police chief put the toll of casualties to five killed and six others wounded—one ANA solider was among the dead and another was injured.
No one claimed to be responsible for the attack.
