At least eight civilians were killed and another 15 wounded in a “terrorist” attack in Kabul’s fifth district, Spin Kalai area, said Tariq Arian, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior.
There were women and children among the dead and wounded, according to the spokesman.
The spokesman further added that Khan Mohammad Wardak, a member of Afghan Parliament, was also injured in the blast.
There was no report of the type of explosion.
No one immediately claimed responsibility
