According to police spokesman Adel Shah Adel, a device attached to a Land Cruiser vehicle went off today around 12:30pm [Afghanistan time] in the second district of Mazar-e-Sharif city.
He put the toll of casualties to one civilian injured, adding the vehicle was slightly damaged.
Balkh’s capital has been witnessing many similar attacks over the past one month.
No one has so far claimed responsibility.
