Afghan forces found and foiled an explosive-rigged Humvee last night which was set to target security outposts in Dawlat Abad district, said 209th Shaheen Army Corps.
The Afghan Ministry of Defense also confirmed the attack, saying anti-government elements planned to target government forces late last night in Dawlat Abad district of the province, but was averted before hitting its target.
No armed group has so far claimed responsibility.
