Fardin Amini, who was said to be a television anchor and journalist working for local media has been killed, Tariq Arian spoke to TKG, marking the latest death of a journalist.
The spokesman then released initial reports on his death which indicated that Amini had committed suicide, with a rock slicing open his neck.
A comprehensive investigation into the incident has begun, Mr. Arian continued in a thread.
Amini’s family and colleagues have also confirmed his murder.
Earlier on Thursday, Malalai Maiwand, another journalist and reporter at Enikas Radio and Television, came under gun attack claimed by the Islamic State/Daesh.
