Security officials have not yet commented; however, Gul Mohammadin Mohammadi, the provincial health chief, spoke to TKG, saying at least one killed and six wounded people have been taken to the provincial and a private clinic.
The person killed in the blast was a solider while the wounded were all civilians, he said.
There was no report on the type of explosion, but witnesses said it was a car bomb targeting Khost Protection Forces, locally referred as “campaign forces.”
No armed group has so far claimed responsibility.
