Afghan forces have killed Hamaza Waziristani, the mastermind of a brutal attack on a military battalion in Deh Yak district of southern Ghazni province, said the Ministry of Defense.
He was killed along with seven other “terrorists” in an overnight airstrike in Giro district, it continued.
A number of weapons were also demolished, according to Defense Ministry’s statement.
At least 30 Afghan forces were killed and dozens more wounded after a car bomb explosion targeted a military battalion in Afghanistan’s southern Ghazni province.
