A number of gunmen, riding on a motorcycle, shot at national army soldiers around 6:30 this morning, said police spokesman Abdul Ahad Walizadeh.
The driver of vehicle belonging to army was killed and another four wounded, he added.
The perpetrators managed to flee the scene and investigations were ongoing.
No one claimed responsibility.
