At least nine people infected with the coronavirus have died within the last 24 hours, according to the latest data by the health ministry, pushing the total fatalities in the country to 1,737.
According to the official data provided by the health ministry, at least 87 patients having been infected with the disease have got better, bringing the recovery toll to 36,232 in the country.
Worldwide, 1,420,556 people have lost the battle for their lives and the total infections passed 60.3 million, a tally by Reuters indicated.
