The conference aims to present an important opportunity for the Afghan government and the international community to commit to common objectives for promoting sustainable development, prosperity and peace in Afghanistan.
Representing Afghanistan, Foreign Minister Mohammad Hanif Atmar, leading a high-ranking government officials departed Saturday for travel to Switzerland.
He was accompanied by the Afghan Minister of Finance Abdul Hadi Arghandiwal and a number of other government officials, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
