Afghanistan Registers 228 New COVID-19 Cases

The country’s COVID-19 death hit 1,544 as the Afghan Ministry of Public Health reported 15 new deaths in the past 24 hours.

The Afghan health ministry reported additional 228 cases on Monday (November 16), saying the country has now registered 43,468 coronavirus cases and a total of 1,632 deaths since the outbreak.

The number of patients recovered from the illness, according to health ministry data, hit 35,136 with 44 patients recovered from the novel coronavirus during the last 24 hours.

The country’s COVID-19 death toll stood at 1,632 as a tally by the health ministry indicated that 15 patients having been infected with the illness died in the past 24 hours.
