Abdulkarim Yourish, a spokesman for the provincial police chief, said the children were crossing a road in Qaisar district of northern Faryab province when a Taliban’s bomb placed at side of the road went off Sunday evening.
Five children were wounded among whom one’s health condition was announced critical, according to Mr. Yourish.
The Taliban group has not commented yet.
