U.S. recorded at least 134,000 new coronavirus infections by late Tuesday—the highest daily rise in the number of cases for the seventh day in a row.
The country’s nationwide case count has surpassed 10.2 million as new cases were registered on Tuesday, November 10.
The U.S. death toll from the disease hit 239,879 after it recorded 1,450 new fatalities.
Worldwide, over 51.4 million people have been infected with the coronavirus pandemic and a total of 1,272,964 have died, according to the Reuters’ coronavirus tracker.
