A suicide vest with two explosive-rigged barrels were seized in eastern Nangarhar province, authorities said.
Afghan security forces have seized a suicide vest and two barrels loaded with explosives, as well as mortar shells, military uniforms, bomb-making instructions manual and a number of other explosives, said police spokesman Farid Khan.
No armed group has commented so far.
