U.S. media called Joseph R. Biden JR. 77, as the winner of the United States 2020 election, crossing 270 Electoral College votes with a win in Pennsylvania.
His victory came days after uncertainty as election officials sorted through a surge of mail-in votes that delayed the processing of some ballots.
Kamala Harris also made history as the first Black woman to become Biden’s vice president.
Biden, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and raised in Delaware, was one of the youngest candidates ever elected to be a Senator. Mr. Biden was a former Vice President.
