A statement from the Presidential Palace said President Ashraf Ghani praised the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Finance for drafting the budget for the next fiscal year.
The draft budget will later be turned to the Afghan Lower House (Parliament) for the final approval.
“The cabinet also approved request of Ministry of Economy on approval of 3.4 million dollars of assistance by USAID for fighting coronavirus,” according to the statement.
