The U.S. presidential race has yet to be called because neither candidate has secured the needed votes for the victory which is 270 Electoral College votes.

Democratic nominee Joe Biden is projected by NBC News to win Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire and Wisconsin. While his Republican rival Donald Trump has so far projected to win Florida, Iowa, Ohio and Texas.

Pennsylvania, Georgia, North Carolina, Nevada, Arizona and Alaska have not been called yet, according to the source.

As of today, Biden has secured 253 Electoral Votes and his presidential rival Trump had 214 votes.

Joe Biden has declared he has won the U.S. presidential election as Donald Trump launched legal challenges.

Mr. Trump and his campaign announced they have already claimed victory. They said Wednesday that they are pursuing court actions to halt ballot counting in Michigan and Pennsylvania, and to prevent the counting of absentee ballots in Georgia that it claims arrived after an Election Day deadline.
