The death toll from Friday’s earthquake in the Aegean Sea rose to 115, reported Reuters news agency quoting officials.
Turkish authorities announced that two teenagers were among the dead on the Greek island of Samos.
It was the deadliest quake to strike Turkey in nearly a decade.
The Istanbul-based Kandilli Institute said the Friday earthquake which had a magnitude of 6.9, was centered in the Aegean Sea, northeast of Samos.
Totally, there were more than 1,035 people wounded in Izmir province, with 137 still under treatment, the news agency quoted Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority.
