Citing the Iranian health ministry, the country’s local media reported as many 434 more patients died over the past 24 hours, pushing the total fatalities to 35,298
According to health ministry’s spokeswoman, Sima Sadat Lari announcing the cases on Sunday, as many as 7,719 new cases of infection with the COVID-19 were detected within the last 24 hours, of whom 2,389 had been hospitalized.
With new cases confirmed over the past 24 hour-period, the nationwide cases rose to 620,491. At least 5,244 patients are in critical condition, according to the spokeswoman.
