The Killid Group’s correspondent reported from the scene that shootings were heard from inside the university.
The interior ministry said that Afghan police forces had entered the Kabul University, where shootings and gunfires were heard.
Witnesses, meanwhile, said a number of assailants have entered to Kabul University’s northern entrance, following an explosion.
The Taliban have denied to claim responsibility.
