Scores of the Taliban fighters today morning, November 1, stormed security outposts in Dehrawood and Gizab districts of Afghanistan’s southern Urozgan province, said the ministry in a statement.
Their attacks were thwarted by government forces as they carried out airstrikes on the insurgents, killing 12 Taliban and wounding another three.
The Taliban have not commented yet.
