Ibrahim Mohammadi, the head of Herat Ambulance, confirmed to TKG, saying at least three were killed and another four hurt after a vehicle collided with a truck today afternoon.
The accident took place in Herat-Islamqala Highway, according to Mr. Mohammadi, it was the second car collision in a row which occurred today.
One of the victims wounded in the accident was in critical health condition, said the source.
In a similar car accident in Herat’s Ghorian district, as many as three have been killed and five others wounded, the provincial police said.
Drivers’ negligence and collapsed roads are believed to be the main causes and factors that contribute to car collisions.
