Afghanistan Records 95 New COVID-19 Cases

Afghanistan reported 95 new cases of the coronavirus on Tuesday (October 27), bringing its nationwide case count to 41,032.

Five COVID-19 patients died within the last 24 hours, according to the latest data by the health ministry, pushing the total fatalities in the country to 1,523.

Health ministry’s figures indicated as many as 67 patients got better during the same period.

The toll of recoveries hit 34,217 after the new patients having been infected with the novel COVID-19 recovered.

Worldwide, 1,158,056 people have lost their lives for the deadly disease and the total infections passed 43.4 million, a tally by Reuters indicated.
