The Afghan Interior Ministry said a bomb blast targeting the Kawsar-e-Danish educational center in west of Kabul was caused when a suicide bomber detonated his explosives near the center.
A suicide bomber in attempt to enter an educational center in Kabul’s 13th district, in Pul-e Khushk area, was detected by center’s bodyguards, according to the ministry’s spokesman, Tariq Arian. The attacker detonated his explosives, leaving as many as 81 killed and wounded.
The ministry’s spokesman put the toll of casualties to 24 killed and 57 others wounded.
Daesh insurgency group claimed responsibility, as AFP reported.
