Officials in northern Baghlan province confirmed a bomb explosion targeted a vehicle belonging to a former military general in the provincial capital of Pul-e-Khumri.
A bomb blast targeting a former military general’s car in Pul-e-Khumri city left three wounded, said local authorities in the province.
According to police spokesman Ahmad Javed Besharat, three, including ex-military General Habib and his son, were wounded in the blast which took place last night.
No individual or armed group claimed responsibility for the attack.
