Afghanistan has registered nearly 1,499 coronavirus-related deaths since the outbreak.
It reported two new fatalities on Tuesday, October 20, taking the total to nearly 1,500.
The daily number of confirmed new cases were reported 82, bringing the total number of infections to 40,369.
Daily recoveries hit 30, pushing the countrywide total to 33,790.
