Death Toll from Ghor Blast Rises, 12 Pronounced Dead

At least 12 people were killed and further hundred were wounded in a car bomb explosion which targeted police chief headquarters in Western Ghor province on Sunday morning, officials in the Interior Ministry confirmed.

A car rigged with explosives went off today around 11:00am in front of the Directorate of Women, Martyrs and Disabled Affairs which is located near the provincial police chief in Feroz Koh city of Ghor province, said Mr. Arian speaking to TKG.

The spokesman put the toll of casualties to 112 killed and wounded—12 were pronounced dead and a hundred more injured.

No armed group has so far claimed responsibility.
