Yesterday evening, October 14, two assailants, who were believed to be guerrilla attackers, were killed by Afghan forces in PD10 of Kandahar city, said police spokesman Jamal Nasir Barkezai.
The assailants aimed to carry out targeted killings and guerrilla attacks, according to the spokesman.
No insurgent group has so far commented.
