Four men were arrested last night on charges of armed robberies in Silo area of the Afghan capital Kabul, the Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
A number of weapons, a vehicle, six cell phones and some money were seized from the suspects, according to the statement.
The ministry further said an investigation into the incident was ongoing.
It comes as the Ministry of Interior said on Monday government forces had arrested as many as 2,181 people who were be behind criminal acts across the country.
The detainees were behind crime cases including armed conflict, robbery, assassination and other offending acts.
