The daily rise in the number of coronavirus deaths was again high on Monday, with 816 new fatalities reported in the last 24 hours, according to the health ministry’s data.
The latest data related to the pandemic indicated that totally 7,120,538 people have been infected by the virus, while the nationwide recoveries stood at 6,149,535
Following the United States, India has become the second country with the highest number of COVID-19 infections.
The south-Asian country which has registered 109,000 deaths since the outbreak has recorded to be the third country with highest deaths.
