The Afghan Public Health Ministry announced that within the last 24 hours, two coronavirus related deaths were registered, raising the total to 1,479 in the country.
The total recoveries hit 33,118 as recently four patients having been contracted with illness got better.
Worldwide, at least 1,074,688 people have died from COVID-19 and over 37.4 million have been infected by the novel coronavirus that causes it, according to a Reuters’ tally.
