Addressing to media on Monday, Tariq Arian, a spokesman for the ministry said that government forces have arrested as many as 2,181 people who were be behind criminal acts across the country.
Within the past twenty days, at least 146 criminal cases were reported in Kabul alone, according to him, and a total of 133 offenders were arrested in the Afghan capital.
The detainees were behind crime cases including armed conflict, robbery, assassination and other offending acts.
He further added the Taliban have assigned a hundred-member group of the Taliban to carry out terror attacks across the capital Kabul—fifteen of them have been arrested by Afghan forces.
It comes as, recently, a man apparently a medical doctor was shot dead inside a hospital by robbers in Kabul’s western part late on Sunday night.
