The Afghan Public Health Ministry announced that with no coronavirus related death registered in the past 24 hours, the total deaths have stood at 1,462 in the country.
The total recoveries meanwhile hit 32,852 as recently 10 patients having been contracted with illness got better.
Worldwide, 1,032,336 people have died from COVID-19 while more than 34.9 million have been infected by the novel coronavirus that causes it, according to a tally by Reuters.
