A bomb explosion took place in the provincial capital of eastern Khost province yesterday around 4:40pm. One was killed and another six wounded, Adel Haidar, a spokesman for the provincial police chief confirmed to TKG.
The suspected man planning to attack was himself killed in the blast while the people who pronounced wounded were civilians, according to the source.
The people injured were rushed to hospital, and their health conditions were said to be stable.
